FAQ

Q: Are Mavic Shoes True to Size?

Personally, I wear a 9 US in normal shoes like my everyday go to. However, when I bought my first Mavic shoe, size 9 felt tight and uncomfortable for me. So I went up half a size, and now I feel pretty comfortable in my Mavic cycling shoes. They fit perfectly and that makes me enjoy my rides even more.

Q: Do Mavic Shoes Run Big or Do Mavic Shoes Run Small?

Mavic shoes have a snug fit. However, going half a size up is always recommended. In my experience, my Mavic shoes came a little small so like I told you before I had to go half a size up and that's why we recommended it to you. We also like to recommend you all to measure your foot, head to toe, and compare it with the size chart that we’ve given you. In case you don’t know how to measure your foot by yourself. Here, check this to learn how to do so at home.

Q: How Do Mavic Cycling Shoes Fit?

Generally, Mavic cycling shoes are known to have a snug, comfortable fit. However, if you’d like to know my experience with Mavic shoes. I had to go a half size up with my Mavic shoes and there are also some other cyclists from our team that had to do the same. However, that’s not the case for everyone. Each one of us has a different foot shape so you may not have to size up like us.

Q: Are Mavic Cycling Shoes Narrow?

Compared to SIDI and Shimano, Mavics come a little narrower and pointier than these two. So if you have wider feet, these shoes may not work for you but you won’t lose anything if you tried them and then shared your experience with everyone here. And if you got the right size for you, you may like them and feel comfortable riding in them.
